Games Dishonored All reviews Review from Sergio Halan

Superbly designed design, excellent work with sound, an intriguing plot with a touch of mysticism, multiple options for passing... Well, are you interested??? All of the above applies to Dishonored - one of the most ambitious projects of recent years. It is not surprising that the success of this project was a foregone conclusion, because the people involved in the creation of such hits as Deus Ex, Dark Messiah of Might & Magic and Half-Life 2 had a hand in the game...

I’ll briefly go through several strengths of the project. The design... It’s simply gorgeous, every room (of an expensive mansion available for exploration, or a dilapidated shack), every street of “Dunwall” (the name of the city where the game takes place) looks as filled as possible with all sorts of surrounding little things. And steampunk inclusions in this very design give it uniqueness and a charming atmosphere. You definitely won't soon forget it. Variability of passage... Everything is simple here. Dishonored, in this regard, is on a par with the cult game series, Deus Ex and Thief.

In general, there are enough well-developed gameplay and design aspects in Dishonored. But in all this “honeyed” splendor there is also a drop of ointment. The protagonist (main character) - Corvo Attano - is a ruthless killer in a terrible mechanical mask, should have a charismatic voice that strikes fear into the hearts of his enemies... But no, he is dumb as a fish. It's a shame that the game developers made such an omission and awarded the hero with "Freeman syndrome." But this is a small thing compared to all the advantages of this wonderful game.
