Games DmC: Devil May Cry All reviews Review from Donte

One of those rare cases when transferring a series to another development team does not lead to a rapid drop in quality and a lowering of the bar. British studio Ninja Theory made a wonderful Devil May Cry in the modern era, where the rebel protagonist listens to aggressive Tech Body Music, wears combat boots and does not leave the club with less than two mats for sex.

The developers managed to preserve the mechanics of the past four games and introduce their good ideas (platforming, an even division into angelic and devilish techniques). But, unfortunately, the new Dante is not as skillful as the old one. He does a great job of being rude to people and beating the crap out of monsters, but at the same time he simply looks dumber than the blond guy the Japanese invented. That Dante always knew how to make a masterful joke about any Devil May Cry object, his new version at such moments can only curse at the bosses and show the middle finger. This is the only negative of DmC. In my personal opinion, a hero with a good sense of humor is always more interesting than the silent version, no matter what other qualities he has.

The music, gameplay, characters (except Dante), even the difficulty levels are very cool here. What can I say, I took the nickname and avatar from this game.
