DOOM, if we evaluate the series of games as a whole, is the BEST first-person shooter of all time, in the entire history of computer games. If only because this game is the beginning and pioneer of its genre, for this alone it is already awarded this status. BUT, besides this, DOOM itself is incredibly cool: the most gorgeous musical accompaniment, the ingenious implementation of weapons, the plot, innovative graphics (And DE Software, something, somewhere, yes, yes, was invented throughout all parts of the games, not to mention already about the greatest breakthrough with the release of the first part), an amazing bestiary of monsters, etc.
