Doom, dear Doom. There was so much talk about this game. I remember how the children in the yard bragged to each other how brave they were, how they played it at night. And the most interesting thing is that she really made a whole army of goosebumps run down the spine, made her palms sweat, made her heart pound in her chest. It was scary to take even a step in its dark corridors. And now nothing has changed. She still frightens and fascinates.
There are no questions about the gameplay. Doom is a pure shooter, made in the best traditions of the genre. Here you have guns, and crowds of enemies, and bosses, and everything, everything, everything.
The graphics are more than good for that time. Although, wandering through dark corridors and shooting monsters, you don’t really care about the graphics. There is a plot in the game (and even a good one), but it is not needed here. Doom is Doom. The main thing is to give it a chance to shoot. In the end, the game turned out just right. Of course, they could have given more varieties of weapons, but when you get the BFG, this issue simply disappears. That's when the real fun begins.
I advise everyone who was afraid to play it or simply didn’t get around to playing it. Don't look at the release year or graphics, just buy (or a torrent to help) and start playing. You won't regret it!
