in my opinion, this is the best part of the series; its plot is not as long and boring as in the Inquisition and not as short and detailed as in part 2. An interesting plot that gives many options for playing both as a man

and as a woman, but this probably does not affect the plot (I didn’t notice the difference after 27 times), the interaction with companions was well worked out (in principle, like in all games in the series), the graphics are excellent for 2009, the controls are also good, the gameplay is average for such a game.

Dragon Age: Origins is one of the best games in the RPG genre. As in all games of this genre, you need to create a hero, choose his skills, and level up your

character. The plot of the game is very exciting, the graphics are good. Overall

is a great game!

The best follower of the classic party RPGs of its time. A game with a great atmosphere, well-developed mechanics, unique lore, seas of blood and romantic relationships between party members.

If you can’t imagine a game without bearded owners of double-edged axes, sophisticated pointy-eared beauties, dragons and hordes of enemies, then Dragon Age will appeal to you.

There will be no stupid clicking or passing battles here. Even at an average difficulty level, the game will require tactical thinking, selection of party members based on their abilities, and thoughtful character leveling.

And if you add to this a solid plot and a bunch of loot, then the title of “must have” can be given with your eyes closed.

I can say that a game is good if, when I turn on the PC, I reach for its shortcut, and after finishing the playthrough, I immediately, without interruption, want to start the second one. This happened with the Witcher and Mass effect series, with DOS and Divinity Dragon Commander, with atom RPG (a game like old fallout).

But I've played thousands of hours in DA Origins, although I complete it in an average of 20.

Tactical but action-packed combat where you need to control your entire squad to win (or customize the AI). Multiplayer is not built in.

A well-thought-out world (in the codex you can learn about the history, religion and culture of Ferelden and other countries), an epic plot with many decisions (and consequences).

Colorful, gradually revealing personalities of the partners.

A board game that sucked me in and caused my ps3 to burn out).

The game has a good plot, good graphics for 2009, sound, not boring gameplay, well-written characters and a large open world with all sorts of cool events.

Best of the series. The dark and grim mood makes it much more unique than subsequent games in the series. The UI fits perfectly with the rest of the game with menus designed to look like parchment or books without ever breaking the immersion. The quests seem impressive and well thought out. The balance between dialogue and actual combat is perfect for RPGs. The classes and specializations are distinct and fun to play. Character-based backgrounds add replayability, and companions have interesting stories and interactions. It's an overall great RPG, which makes Dragon Age Inquisition feel even more of a failure. That's not to say that Inquisition is a bad game per se, but the lack of a true dark fantasy feel, compelling quests, and interesting interactions hurts it so much that it feels more… Read full

The crowning achievement of the bio-beasts, and the only good game in the DA universe, unfortunately.

I tried to play it back in 2012-2013, but due to a garbage computer (I couldn’t even handle that, yeah) and a fairly high entry threshold, I still didn’t pass it

I returned to it in 2021, already Having experience in classic RPGs and a normal computer, I couldn’t tear myself away. I played the popular version, then bought Steam, because the game is too good.

The game is made according to the typical scheme of old games from bio-creatures

1. Collect a bunch of stuff to save the world

2. Pump them into the death machine/mom's benders/fathersSotons228

3. Walk around and not understand why everyone is so afraid orcs/sith/dark lords/dragons/spawn of darkness/drunken f… Read full

The top game, despite the year of publication, a lot of facial expressions of the characters, an open world, the best part of the entire franchise, romance and bosses in the DS style, a unique leveling system, there was a disk but the key fell off, they gave it to me, I play with pleasure, I really would like to patches for 10 may crash when loading a map.

Good AI system.

Real facial expressions of the behavior of characters and companions.

A fascinating story that catches your attention even now.

Great story.

The best game mechanics in the open world.

I recommend it especially now while it costs 99 rubles.

Better than what they are churning out now.

The return of old school. A tactical RPG that has received millions of fans, created a great setting and shows us a lot of interesting dialogues and plot twists. This is how many people remember this game. But I remember a little more...

After the release of ME2, many literally idolized Biovar with renewed vigor. A new level of directing, living heroes, relationships, adventures, yes! All this is in DA:O! But personally, I have always been irritated by the division into good and bad. Of course, this game showed a darker world where everything is not so clear, but no matter what dialogue we enter into, there will always be a good and a bad option. I'm so tired of this in RPGs... as well as of stories about saving the world. No, of course the premise of the game is great, but how tired you ar… Read full

I always rate this game highly because it is where my love for gaming started. It is possible that now the new generation will not be able to perceive it the way I did in the absence of super graphics and the like. However, I enjoyed going through the story, fighting monsters, and even just walking around the location, pointing at NPCs. I remember it so vividly that even now I’m ready to walk through it with great pleasure. For me, this is the most interesting and best part.
