Purely in my personal opinion, the game is amazing and much better than Dungeons 3. It is more complex, more interesting, larger, more multifaceted and more serious. Especially #spoiler# "Winter Games". However, I didn't really like some external aspects. In general: The beginner-to-understand-the-basics-of-evil should immediately try this masterpiece from RealmForge and Calypso Media.
