Why is the visual so poorly made? I played Dusk after ULTRAKILL and I heard that Dusk, like ULTRAKILL, is a spin-off retro shooter.

Dusk is fun to play. Meat, speed, madness, metal music; what more does a good game need? I still have a question about the graphics. In some places it feels like the developer, calling the game with a retro style, is covering up obvious hackwork, okay, pixels, but models, what about the models? What was the problem with adding a couple more ranges of weapons and enemies? Why is it that if you approach the border of the map where there is a forest, then the texture of the forest is clearly not designed for someone to approach it point-blank or even 10 meters away (those who have played will understand).
