I rate it good. I'll go straight to the pros and cons.

+ The open world is truly an open and living world.

+Graphics - on par with modern games.

- The idea of combining robots with Vikings in one bottle is original, but controversial. I would classify it as a minus, because... I think this is a weak move in creating the lore of this game. It should have been more subtle somehow...

Neutral: 1. Combat. Nothing special, nothing bad, nothing new.

2. Plot. There are both pros and cons. I would say the ending is a plus.

3. The idea with a jetpack. Unusual.

Overall, an interesting game, a worthy representative of its genre.

A very controversial project from the legendary creators of Gothic and Ryzen.

On the one hand, we have a fairly high-quality project, with a modern graphic component, an interesting concept of the intersection of the magical and technical worlds, a well-developed world with a very large map filled with events and loot.

On the other hand, we have before us an attempt to reboot the mechanics of Gothic, many of which are extremely easy to recognize after so many years.

Personally, I was faced with the question of whether to play Elex as a “new Gothic” or try to abstract from the studio’s previous projects and the obvious similarity to them, and try to perceive the project, as well as the concept, in a completely new way.
