10 years. 10 years from the start of release.
For the first time I played this game on my phone, at that moment it seemed boring to me, I didn’t see the point in this game, and barely after getting to Semyon’s endings I deleted it.
After 2 years, having seen a friend playing it on Steam, I decided that it was worth replaying, maybe I didn’t understand something by playing before, and having completed the game for all endings, it suddenly dawned on me, this was the best thing I’ve played in of your life. I liked everything. And visuals, and characters, and backgrounds, a special bow to Sergei Eybog and the group Between August and December for the best soundtracks.
It’s even hard to imagine that some anonymous people from 4chan who didn’t know each other could create a game that everyone would know. You have created a game that you want to pay for, and not just download for free.
Endless Summer changed us all.
The game is emotionally difficult. It evoked different emotions in everyone. 13 endings that will make different impressions. After completing the game, you don’t want to return to your usual reality, but you want to relive this story again, relive these feelings.
Sometimes a moment is enough to forget life, and sometimes life is not enough to forget a moment.
It was released in 2013 and almost immediately became a cult - a very dense community formed around it (the so-called “Letosphere”), within which fan modifications were created. And some of them have also become extremely popular. Such success came as a surprise to the developers themselves, because it all started as a local project from their own and for their own - visitors to the Ychan imageboard made a game for their own crowd.

“Every story has a beginning and an end. Each story has its own outline, synopsis, content, key points, prologues and epilogues. And there is no book in which, with each new reading, things would not be revealed that you had not paid attention to before. Every story has a beginning and an end. And this one is already completed.”
