Games Fallout 4 All reviews Review from RLD

I won’t write anything special, but as a fact, I’m going through it for the fifth or sixth time.

In general, the game itself is not very good, especially for old-school fans of the Fall game. And why all? Because it doesn’t even smell like the RPG genre, although it might smell just a little bit, just a little bit. Thanks to character leveling for this. Here the definition of “first-person shooter with elements of crafting and construction” would be more appropriate. Oh yeah, construction, hello Sims? What is this all about? Why, all these farmers...Give them food, water, a bed and protection. For what? Zero benefit. Oh, what are you talking about, they will come to your aid if you shoot into the sky with a flygun! Mmm...! I've never used this once. But you can call a helicopter from Braverkhuds, this is useful.

By the way, the atmosphere has been preserved, a plus for the developers. But Boston is somehow “not alive”, even with all its surroundings. In the Commonwealth, unlike the Mojave, there are no small settlements like even Novak. At all. There are some small farms, but one building with a vegetable garden cannot be called a settlement; you will have to develop it yourself into a full-fledged settlement, and for this you will have to include a city planner in yourself and remember past sins in Sims and Sim City. No thanks. Senchuari has been rebuilt and that's enough. (again about construction)

A little bit from the RPG genre, dialogues:

1 - Yes

2 - No (yes)

3 - Sarcasm (yes)

4 - What? then “yes”)

A little more RPG, LevelUp and crafting:

Can I improve my pistol knowledge by 15 points? No, put a star and you get +20% damage. And Kraft? No, we haven't heard. Upgrade? There is such a thing.

In general, most of the time in the game we spend running back and forth (fast travel ugh) and constant skirmishes with raiders and all sorts of cockroaches. And the constant search for materials for upgrades and buildings. Especially(!) the search for glue and bolts, it feels like we are playing a stalker-substance addict. That's all.

Despite all the shortcomings, I still consider this game one of my favorites and give it 10...

...10 new settlements in need of help out of 10.
