This game is a masterpiece!!! A masterpiece that was undeservedly criticized by the “oldfags”. This game has it all - post-apocalyptic, shooter, open world, RPG component, crafting, construction, the ability to build relationships, develop a settlement, etc. The open world, although not as big as many wanted, is well designed ! Down to the smallest detail! The graphics are good, and when a couple of graphic mods come out, as was the case with Skyrim, the graphics of Fallout 4 will be at the level of The Witcher 3, and maybe even higher! And the mods that have already been released can diversify crafting, complicate the game, etc. I haven’t really gone through the plot, but I know that the plots of all Follies, starting from part 3, were criticized for their simplicity. Dialogues are simplified - so what? A huge number of choices and plot twists have not gone away. And by the way - about the bugs - I have a weak PC and in the game I only completed the first 3-4 quests, and then I deleted it because it froze a lot. But I stayed in the game long enough and did almost everything - even built! And despite the weakness of the PC, there was not a single bug in the game!!! Not a single one!!! I'm not kidding! It just makes me terribly angry when people start talking about bugs in Fallout 3, 4, New Vegas... For some reason I never have these bugs.
In conclusion, I’ll say that only “oldfags” in all forms will criticize this game. A person who has never played Fallout at all (although there are probably very few of them) will really like this game. A person who has played Fallout since Part 3 (like me) will also like it without any complaints (perhaps someone will criticize the dialogues and role-playing component). “Oldfag” will categorically not like it and will argue that Fallout 1 and 2 are masterpieces, and the damned Arbor ruined everything.
And rightly so - why was it necessary to revive such a magnificent series of games. Why buy the rights to the game when Black Isle Studios went bankrupt? Why was it necessary to take a break from Skyrim and make Fallout 3? Why was it necessary to revive Fallout from the nuclear ashes and end up getting a slap in the face - the main atmosphere of the first two games was spoiled.
My opinion is this - if Besedka had released Fallout 3 according to all the canons of Fallout and Fallout 2 - those who now stigmatize the game for not respecting the atmosphere of the first two games would brand it for its reluctance to move forward and come up with something new. And even more so because Besedka shamelessly plagiarizes the ideas of Black Isle Studios.
As for Fallout 4, my rating is 10. This is a great game and everything about it is great! There is nothing more to add here.
