Games Fallout 4 All reviews Review from Paranoid

Let me start by saying that I am a fan of the original Fallouts.

"Eww fucking oldfag!" - I hear, but actually no.

Therefore, I would like to try to convey to the “newfags” that the hate of this game is not at all that the grass was greener before, but that this is the 4th part of the series. I mean that any numbered part of any series of games is doomed to be compared with previous ones, be it Fallout or any other game. Read any review, or even your own, on one of the parts of any series, there will always be comparisons in the text in reviews and reviews because this is a GAME SERIES. Therefore, whether you are an “oldfag” or a “newfag”, you will in any case compare the new part of this or that game with the previous ones, sometimes the new parts are better, sometimes worse, but one hell of a comparison they cannot avoid, and anyone who says otherwise is simply a hypocrite !

This is all to say that many write about the fact that it is impossible to compare F4 and F1, 2, they say this is a restart, but nowhere was it said about a restart. When a restart occurs, the game is NOT called "Something 2,3,4, etc." Also, this is not a spinoff of any kind, this is a numbered part. But what do we have? Everything that the previous parts were loved for was removed, the game, for some reason, changed the genre, from RPG to action with elements of leveling up, even some little things changed, such as the design of New York Cola bottles, not to mention the plot, quests, dialogues etc.

So I’ll try to explain the feelings of old fans. Let's say you love some series of games. For example, you buy a new DUM, hoping for a meaty shooter, launch the game, and there is a visual novel with anime demons and love lines. Will your fart explode??? I think yes. This is something similar that fans of the first parts of Fallout feel.

This game is not Fallout at all, it’s something else, but for some reason it’s called Fallout 4, in short, if the game didn’t have this name or instead of 4 it had the prefix “post nuclear shooter”, there would be many more complaints less.

My subjective opinion and complaints

Despite the fact that this is not what I expected from Fallout, and therefore I didn’t want to play it, I grabbed my knees with my hands and rocked back and forth with his eyes looking into nowhere, he repeated the mantra: “This is not a Fallout, but just another game in the post-apocalypse.” This helped and I abstracted myself from the fact that it was “Foul” and was able to play it.

Yes, this is not a fallout at all, but the game was really addictive at the beginning, but unfortunately, after some time, the game stopped bringing me pleasure. I just forced myself to play it, simply because I wanted to finish it off.

The main reason is the stupidest quests. According to the Fallout wiki, there are over 20 repeatable quests in this game, some of which never end. But just single quests also do not shine with originality, are not interesting and not memorable, are monotonous and have no inherent variability, as a result they are already in the liver.

At its core, F4 is a SIMS or tycoon-game type. Yes, yes, millions of people compared this game to The Sims. But I don’t mean that it’s about building houses, but that this game, like Sims-like games, essentially has no goal, which means the game is essentially endless. More precisely, this game is not about the plot and quests, but about the fact that you collect garbage and build settlements, as if it were a sim city, everything else is background. And I initially didn’t like this simulator of a homeless construction worker.

Moreover, in settlements people are helpless and incapable of anything at all, i.e. everything must be done for them, stupidity.

At first crafting was interesting, but as it turned out, having all the skills and details, this is not crafting, but simply upgrading weapons, nothing more. You can't create something interesting.

As many have already said, it’s a stupid plot, plus it’s a self-copying of your own 3rd foul, and such a stupid and predictable twist:

It was soooo easy to read.

And G.G.?: “Sean? It can’t be. How is this possible?” Damn you have an IQ of 10, how come you didn’t figure it out, idiot!

In addition, the game has many bugs that spoil the impression of the game.

As a result, I didn’t even finish the game, because the gameplay is more boring than my going to work, and after finding Sean, the game lost all sense of plot, because why should I help this or that faction, I haven’t decided for myself and accordingly I lost all motivation to progress through the story.
