The review was written while the game was still in development.
I’m almost sure that HB2 is much more anticipated than the usual Fallout, and the point here is not at all in New Vegas, but in what its predecessor was like. If the current release retains all the strong features and enhances them, then the game will certainly find its success.
Ordinary NV is still alive and revered in its community, which is completely deserved. The sequel has a really difficult task of not betraying fan expectations, which, given the previous game's bar, could be problematic.
A real release that all fans of the series, which I am, should wait for)
