Having learned about the imminent announcement of Fallout 4, I decided to bring back good memories and play Fallout: New Vegas.
If we talk about the progress of the game compared to Fallout 3, we will see that the game has grown in breadth, but not in depth. But even such changes make a huge contribution to the gameplay. The game has a wonderful world, containing a huge number of locations, interesting places, diverse and interesting characters (that’s only Chris, a man who considers himself a ghoul). The game has a large number of quests, almost every one of them is memorable and evokes positive emotions. Also, compared to the third part, the radio has changed for the better, there are more songs, and the DJ’s chatter is more interesting to listen to, but this is a matter of taste.
As a fan of the Fallout series, I would also like to note the visual style of Fallout: New Vegas, which has changed a lot since the 3rd part. The palette of the “new Vegas” is dominated by yellow-orange light tones, which is closer to the original parts 1 and 2 than to the swamp-green shade of Fallout 3.
In conclusion, I would like to say that Fallout: New Vegas is a worthy continuation of the history of the world of the Fallout series and that before the release of Fallout 4, the best choice of game in the series will be it (of course, not taking into account Fallout 2).
