A spinoff worthy of the original.
It's rare that parodies come into the shooter genre. No matter what anyone says, “Dragon” is a parody not so much about the action films of the 80s, but rather a parody of the entire genre of militants and action. Dinosaurs with lasers, the pain of learning, ridiculous descriptions of objects and the suffering of the main character from learning will make anyone who is at least somehow familiar with these genres laugh, but if they caught those very films of the 80s, then they will enjoy each one even more scenes or phrases.
But as a game, it is much worse than the original. The world, although stylish, is empty and does not provide incentive to explore these dull dark places. Not all the time the game tries to amuse us, giving us rather simple “cleansing” and “running” of locations. New mechanics that allow you to hit harder and jump higher completely replace cars and equipment.
Of course, the game is very funny and accurately shoots all the parodies and jokes, or maybe not the whole game consists of them. Everything related to the gameplay is the less interesting Far Edge 3, but for the sake of humor you can pass it.
