Hello everyone from 2020, there is a coronavirus on the street and everyone is staying at home. Unfortunately for me, my computer’s monitor broke, which is impossible to buy anywhere now, so I decided to while away the time by playing old games on my laptop. And I was one of the first to decide to play Far Cry 3 based on numerous positive reviews from my friends and acquaintances. After the launch, for the first time it was not interesting at all and I forced myself to play for about an hour a day, already thinking that the game was from 2012, that it could contrast with modern games that I had already played. But having figured out the improvements to your weapons, recipes, etc. the game showed itself in a completely different way and for the next 4 days I didn’t leave there, playing around the clock. The advantages are combat, shootouts, action in all this, an incredibly coolly designed island, where there are bandits and animals and even wild animals that also pose a danger, a bunch of different caves, the remains of bunkers, etc., in general, the game does not make you bored even after how you progress through the entire main story. Weapon modifications and basic crafting are also a strong point of the game, there is a lot of transport everywhere that you can always use, the game will not force you into limits, do what you want. The plot is also a strong point of the game, except for the fact that you are constantly caught and cannot be killed, at some point you realize that this is already too much. As for the weaknesses, these are primarily periodic bugs, failures in textures, etc. The stealth mode also leaves much to be desired, along with the artificial intelligence of the enemies. I was especially annoyed by the constant opening of communication towers; the developer should have reduced their number to 10. But otherwise, for a 2012 game, a solid 8
