Do you know what madness is?
Now I know.
Insanity is killing a shark with a bow on the 100th attempt. This is to burn hemp fields to the magnificent music of Skrillex. This is jumping with a parachute from a mountain and, having opened it, fly over a beautiful green island enjoying the scenery. This is climbing through ancient temples and bunkers, killing snakes and looking for the 150th relic, reading Japanese letters in order to get a tanto.
This is Far Cry 3.
Ubisoft made a simply great game. A masterpiece that will not be forgotten even after a total apocalypse. This is one of the best games in the FPS&OpenWorld genre. The plot in it is beautiful, the characters are excellent, colorful and inspiring. Of course, all of them are overshadowed by the one and only Vaas, who will tell in detail about what madness really is?
The open world in the game is large and varied. The bunkers and ancient temples are detailed and very beautiful. Many different Easter eggs and references will delight the sophisticated fan of games and films.
But the main pleasure is the missions. They are simply wonderful and diverse here, and each one left a mark on the soul. Stealth completely without weapons for the sake of a mercenary form, burning hemp fields, escaping from the clutches of Vaas in the middle of the game... I will never forget it.
The gameplay is simply awesome, but the only thing that irritated me was that you can throw knives at the board, but not at your opponents. But this doesn't ruin the game.
The variety of weapons and the possibility of modification and painting are pleasing to the eye. Animal hunting missions are simply beyond splendor (kill a shark from a boat with a bow - no, you have to think of that!!! ). Well, this masterpiece is supported by a mystical component - demons, gods, tatau, drug addiction, etc. You don't see this everywhere!
Far Cry 3 is an undeniable and timeless masterpiece that I will play through 100 more times. One of the best games in the world! Bravo Ubisoft!!! You know what madness is!
10 out of 10.
