FIFA 2000: Major League Soccer — the fast and simple gameplay created an arcade-like feeling, which could not please the players, and therefore the International Superstar Soccer series (later Pro Evolution Soccer) from Konami began to gain more and more weight. This was the first time a US soccer league was included in the game, while many leagues still had unlicensed players. In the gameplay, a new feature was the pass system, when certain buttons were responsible for passes to certain players. A graphical display of the strength of the pass also appeared: red color indicated that the pass was most likely to be intercepted; yellow — that the chances are 50/50; green, there is virtually no danger of losing the ball.
