Beautiful locations. You can just walk along them, admire them, listen to pleasant music. This is a plus. But there are also a lot of disadvantages here. The first is an uninteresting plot. The main one is more or less, but the side branches are just torture. The text seemed to be written by a person without imagination. Routine, everyday life, the same grinding a hundred times.
The characters are one-sided. And I'm not talking about the dummy NPCs, who in the world of Genshin are just a scam. I'm talking about individual ones. They are flat like cardboard. Each of them conventionally has what they love (or virtue) and what they don’t like (or disadvantage). And they consist of only these two traits. Here's Sucrose: cartoonishly shy, but loves science. OK. Tartaglia loves battles and his younger relatives. All. And so on. The characters have two traits, all their conversations and personality reveals will not go beyond these two traits. This is just a disgrace. Worse than average anime. And then there's Paimon, who's disgusting. annoying flying dwarf. Her nasty voice torments me in every cutscene. She constantly inserts herself into the conversation, although she is a nobody at all, an opportunist ready for anything and an upstart.
Let's move on. New characters are insultingly broken, some are not working until we give them at least two spins. Fun huh? A banner with a weapon is pure fraud and gems down the drain. And I’m not even talking about minor quibbles, like the fact that the weekly bosses in solo mode don’t have cartoons cut out in the middle of the battle, like with Tartaglia or Senora. And in the co-op they were cut out. So why not cut everywhere?! Or that useless cut-scenes, where the text is not even voiced, cannot be skipped with one button at once, but you have to skip every sentence, and not every one can be skipped. Yes, yes! Some cannot be skipped until the text reaches the end, because the character in the frame decided to scratch himself or something like that.
In summary, what would be good for this game, and what it won’t do:
1. Cut Paimon out by the roots.
2. Cut out the cut scenes, add the ability to turn them off to hell.
3. Bring back the banners of old characters like Gan Yu, not these new disabled people.
Then the game will be much better. In the meantime, this is a piece of a bad plot, empty characters, annoying scam NPCs and the upstart Paimon.
