God of War: Betrayal is a 2D side-scrolling action platformer for mobile phones set in the fantasy universe of God of War. The setting is Ancient Greece, where revenge is the central motive. You will once again take on the role of Kratos, who became the new god of war after killing the original god of war, Ares. The hero is falsely accused of the murder of Argus and pursues the true murderer throughout Greece, and then confronts the messenger of the Olympian gods, Kerik. This confrontation further alienates Kratos from the gods.
