I’ll start with the fact that I’m very new to the GoW universe and the flair of the game, which is probably why the game didn’t excite me like many others. Let's start with the plot - I repeat, I'm not familiar with the main series, but I know the story in general terms. The characters are alien and distant to me, and as the game progresses they reveal themselves very poorly. The plot for the jackdaw is to take the remains of his mother to the mountain for burial. That's it, the whole plot. It didn't grab me at all. The game was compared and put on a par with the third Witcher... These are generally different games and it is generally incorrect to compare.
pros - beautiful worlds, the picture itself, the atmosphere. The combat system worked just fine - I played on a gamepad from xvox and dualsense. For me, this is souls for crooked people like me. You also need to catch the timings, remember the actions of your opponents, but everything is much easier than in souls (although I managed to die a hundred times on the damn Valkyries). The localization is great. Good optimization.
The game didn't catch my attention. I missed the main plot. I started to make some additional steps, but quickly gave up - I had no desire to vacuum the map.
Also, among the minuses, I would like to note movement around the world - I was constantly confused and lost, somehow it was all implemented very crookedly, sailing on a boat, orienting on a map.
