Grimvalor is a fairly active platformer with fast combat and a variety of enemies.
The game has excellent gamepad support (I played with a wireless gamepad sven gc 5070 using an OTG adapter) - when you press the gamepad button or move the stick, the visual buttons automatically disappear from the screen, and when you click on the screen they return.
In total, the game has 5 chapters (the first chapter is free), as well as the
“New Game+” mode - as usual - the old leveling remains, new monsters and items appear.
The game has quite a lot of “secrets” - chests with loot, or for example a lying corpse with a small amount of currency.
The game itself can be purchased for both iPhones/iPads and android devices.
Regarding heating - I personally have a smartphone umidigi a7 pro on Android 10 (a low-end budget phone) heats up very well after 5-8 minutes (false positives occur). BUT at the same time, the game runs smoothly on ultra graphics settings - and accordingly it looks very pleasing to the eye. (although most likely the heating problem is related specifically to my smartphone).
[CURRENCY]
The currency used in this game is shards - souls and abyss shards. Void Shards are a rare currency. Used to purchase new equipment (armor and several weapons) at the forge. And soul fragments are the main currency with an interesting mechanics - to obtain a new level, you need to accumulate a certain number of these fragments (the higher the level, the (slightly) more fragments you need than before). To gain a new character level, you need to approach the altar statues, interact and raise the level - spending shards accordingly. Also, such fragments are required to purchase various trinkets (with bonuses when worn), and, for example, to improve the forge, and improve “healing potions” - increase the quantity by 1.
Also, when resting at the altars, all monsters (except for the main bosses, hunters, and simply conventionally unique opponents) are resurrected in the location. And when passing through the altars, the gg is preserved - you will die and be resurrected here.))
[A LITTLE ABOUT WEAPONS]
Above I have already described how to create weapons, but it is worth noting that moment, quite rare but still - weapons can be found in caches.
Weapons come in several types - Axes (high chance of stun), Swords (high chance of critical damage) (usually deal the most initial damage), and my favorite - gauntlets (have both high chance of stun and critical damage).
Another point worth noting is that you can only carry 2 weapons on you at the same time (BUT NOT OF THE SAME TYPE) - for a light attack and a heavy one (a heavy attack spends energy, and energy is restored when picking up soul fragments). As the game progresses, you'll unlock several additional heavy attacks.
Bottom line - I personally really liked the game. I recommend it.
