Hellblade, first of all, is a very atmospheric story that tells us about a mentally ill girl warrior Seuna.
The game has amazing graphics, beautiful landscapes and visual effects.
The gameplay can be divided into three (two) parts - these are battles, solving puzzles and at times, this is a walking simulator with sticking to a beautiful environment. The battles, in my opinion, flow interestingly (let’s call them the “rock-paper-scissors” or “dodge-block-punch-pierce” principle) and look beautiful (epic), there are bosses, each of which requires its own approach. All puzzles are of a visual nature, requiring the player, for example, to “build” a bridge by looking at it from a certain angle; especially often there are gates that open if you find a certain symbol in the environment (by matching it from the environment), which is cool at first, but in the end can be tiring.
Beautiful music. Very atmospheric sound component, I recommend playing with headphones because when you take on the role of a mentally ill woman who is haunted by hallucinations and many voices, you begin to get the impression that these voices are in your head or that you are one of Seuna’s “voices” , who is still silent and watches everything from the side.
This may not be a game for everyone (especially if you don’t like a deep story and don’t want to follow it, or for some reason you didn’t like the combat system), but after finishing it, Hellblade became one of the best games for me.
P.S. "Possibly a spoiler!!!" — When at the end of the game the main character turns to the player and breaks the fourth wall, that was nothing)
