Maybe I just don’t like stealth action games, or maybe this game really isn’t that good)
I played the game back at release, and most likely many things have become better now (especially, now the game has Russian localization, but then didn’t come from the word “at all”), but I’ll still tell you about my emotions that I got from the game right then.
I don’t know what happened to the third part, but the first two really suited me, but the third really disappointed me, maybe due to the lack of localization at release, or it became more complicated, the locations were more boring, and overall there was less action , and everything was swallowed up by stealth.
I don’t like stealth, and I could get through half of the first two parts without it, and in the third you have to go through absolutely everything in stealth, so I’m very tired of going through this game.
In addition, during my playthrough, I found countless bugs, from the classic fps drop and sound stuttering, to getting stuck in textures and crashes at the end of each mission! And I, having previously saved about 10-15 minutes before the end of the mission, had to go through this progress again, and then crash again, and only after rebooting the laptop there was no crash. And after the fifth mission, rebooting didn’t help either, I had to wait a whole week for the patch, only then was I able to complete the last mission, which surprisingly turned out to be really good, and perhaps it is the best thing in this game.
The graphics here seem to be normal, but in fact they are a little outdated, they were like this in the first part, which was released back in 2018, they could have tweaked it a little.
The story in the game is really interesting and not without sudden plot twists, especially at the end, when Dina seemed to have abandoned Baldy, but it seems like she didn’t. Probably the story would be even more interesting if there was a Russian in the game, and I would understand not only the basics, but also all sorts of documents, etc.
There is a good sound and character design here,
Hitman himself is at his best as always.
Conclusion:
Hitman 3 is a good stealth action game, but not variable, in this regard I like Dishonored more, there you can stealth or kill everyone to hell. In terms of story, the conclusion to the trilogy is great, but in terms of gameplay, not so much.
