The Hitman series is full of great games, but there is one in particular that is the favorite of many, including me, part of the franchise, which I consider not only the best game in the series, but also a complete masterpiece. Even Hitman 2: Silent Assassin and Hitman: Absolution, which I deeply respect, could not overshadow this wonder of the world. This, as many might have already guessed, is the game Hitman: Blood Money. Of course, this is my personal and subjective opinion, with which you may not agree.
The replayability and fun of the gameplay is simply off the charts, and proof of this fact is that I have completely completed the game more than 50 times and continue to return to it to this day. Another undoubted advantage of the game is its alternative nature; there are a lot of variations in completing the mission, ranging from a banal but fun shootout (kill everything and everyone on the level) and up to 100% stealth action (dressing up, hiding corpses and silent killings). The main goal of missions is almost always to kill bad men and women, who are guarded by crowds of well-armed mercenaries. And then we are credited with money, with which we can buy new useful things or upgrade our weapons. Such missions basically form the overall plot of the game.
As for the gameplay and controls, I’ll say one thing: it’s well done. Well, one of the biggest advantages of the game and the entire series is the musical accompaniment, which is simply divine and excellent. If you don’t believe me, then be sure to listen, you clearly won’t regret it. And playing becomes a million times more enjoyable when you listen to it.
I, as a fan of the series, could continue to talk about all the delights of the game, but it’s better to drive the bald one in person. Finally, I would like to say that Hitman: Blood Money is at least a decent game, which I recommend that any self-respecting gamer should check out.
