Horace is not just another pixel platformer, it is a mixture of many game genres that fit perfectly into the concept of the game. It’s really very difficult to impress me, but this game did it despite its simplicity and poor controls. I don’t want to spoil the plot (and there really is one , and not understanding English, it’s better not to play without a Russifier, which unfortunately doesn’t exist yet at the time of writing this review), so I’ll tell you that we will play as a friendly English robot named Horace, who gradually learns about the world and his capabilities as updates are made. But then in At some point his familiar world collapses and he needs to try to change everything.
If we discuss the game without touching on the plot, we can say that Horace is a game for patient people, because here a lot depends on timing, and if you just jump, then you won’t succeed and you will die over and over again. Also in There are a lot of unexpected things in it, for example, in the first half of the game you are trying to solve all the problems peacefully, and already in the middle you kill a person.
The overall impressions of the game are positive, and if you want to devote 15 hours of your time to completing something interesting, then I recommend this game to you.
