Faded gray visual (which can be made normal with mods - in color).
Platforming-under parkour. Constant restrictions due to concrete dust. Incomprehensible end to the game.
Someone will say that this game is a budget The Last of Us for the poor, where the main character protects a girl in the post-apocalypse...
But there are 2 BUT:
Firstly, the game unhurried, it immerses you many times more into a dirty and hopeless action than “The Last of Us”, in which all communities + are doing well, and in “The Last of Us 2” everything is even better, because a rocking chair has appeared in the communities. .., Karl! How well Neil Druckman's heroes live in the post-apocalypse! But the heroes of the game I Am Alive are deprived of all this.
You don’t know who is good and who is bad, who to help and who not to. Someone sharing food that serves as a first aid kit is good or bad (is there any catch to it)? Are you being asked to help, is this request sincere or is it a trap?
This game does not push the player through planned situations, through battles in arenas...
It has a HUB level, from which we get to various locations and to which we then return.
Secondly, the unique mechanics of bluffing and intimidation with weapons:
(platforming in the game from the 3rd person, walking and wandering with the camera over the shoulder, and aiming from the 1st person)
if while aiming, you point your weapon at the enemy, he will raise his hands up or surrender, even if you have no ammunition (he doesn’t know this).
All this mechanics, who will outplay and outwit whom, will outbluff – mega FUCK!
Are you sure that the enemy's weapon is loaded? Is he bluffing or not?
Enemies die with one bullet, but so do you!
