A very good representative of the Diabloids with his own unique face.
The game is solid, with a simple plot, three classes to choose from, and three threads of skills for three areas of development.
Crowds of evil spirits can be crushed both with good old iron and no less good old magic, and with the achievements of local scientific and technological progress.
The gameplay is dynamic and does not cause fatigue almost until the end of the game.
There are enough secrets and references to various third-party projects - consider the answer “42” and the mention of the phrase “a cake is a lie.” Separately, it is worth noting the quest with the statue of King Borislav - it is long and not easy, but the bonuses at the end are worth it (although no one canceled the random one).
Yes, and, of course, Katarina. Her company and caustic phrases embellish the game very favorably.
A couple of fly in the ointment.
Purely personal opinion - when you start playing something about Van Helsing, you rub your hands in anticipation of the gloomy atmosphere of hopelessness, defenselessness before monsters lurking in the dark, flashes of lightning... that's all. But in fact, we are given a story in a rather colorful world, where most of the time we have to disassemble a variety of mechanoids, drones, robots...
Also, in the second half of the passage, the enemies simply become boring. New species stop appearing, and old ones are killed in ever larger crowds with greater health reserves. Boring.
Loot. In the Diabloid, clothes are a separate article. They are hunted, collected, improved, picked up, and go on boss raids. But not here. Yes, there are several levels of rarity, but there is no opportunity to go somewhere several times in the hope of knocking out an item from a set. At all. Enemies do not respawn, and there are no arenas or dungeons. Those. If the random guy is not friends with you and garbage falls from another monster, deal with it.
And probably the last thing - bosses. More precisely, their absence. Throughout the game, you encounter a dozen named monsters and a couple with unique models. And that's all. No epic fights, no memorable confrontation.
To sum it up, the game is very good. Anyone who is missing a good Diablo clone should definitely check it out. The project has its own style and charm. And for this you can forgive a lot.
