Games Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing All reviews Review from Аян

Sometimes games come out that absorb and evenly distribute all the best from their genre. These projects can confidently include such a wonderful game as The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing.

This is not another Diablo clone from the “Hack and slash” genre; the game has many original innovations, but the game does not abandon old ideas, but actively and quite wisely uses them.

A wonderful feature of the game I would like to highlight is the setting of Gothic Europe of the 19th century, as well as the musical accompaniment, which fits perfectly into the overall ambiance of the game, adding even more atmosphere. Also, the humor and various funny Easter eggs that are found throughout the game are captivating.

The storyline is done at a very good level. You can see how they tried to make it more interesting. The gameplay is quite enjoyable, of course, all the features of the game are not fully understood, but it’s still done well. And in general, everything is perfectly taken from other similar games. The combat system, combined with the hero’s skills, looks very impressive and leaves only positive emotions. The controls are very convenient and obedient, I didn’t feel any particular discomfort. There are a lot of types of enemies, and their numbers are even greater. The locations themselves are very well designed, the creators of the game successfully managed to create a truly mystical and supernatural world.

Minor disadvantages include the generally weak AI (artificial intelligence) of the enemies, which at times is so stupid that it does not notice our brave hero in the hat, although such a flaw does not occur often. There are also minor interface flaws and bugs.

In conclusion, I would like to say that the game is really worthy of attention, especially if you are a fan of the “Hack and slash” genre and series such as Diablo, Sacred and Torchlight.
