Once upon a time, back in 2007, I bought myself a toy called “Fahrenheit. The Indigo Prophecy.” Installed. I struggled with the controls for half an hour and gave up. The next day I decided to try again...and a miracle happened. And the secret of the miracle turned out to be simple: you don’t have to jerk the mouse from side to side, splashing drool on the monitor, screaming: “Who does this kind of control!” On the contrary, in mini-games where you need to quickly press buttons, you don’t need to sleep. A year and a half later, I replayed it with a gamepad (anticipating that “right now I’ll definitely defeat everyone with one button”). Not so. Having been caught by a cop in the toilet 8 times (eight, Karl!) for the reason “I can’t pick up a mop/can’t wash the floor/can’t hide a knife/can’t get condoms out of the machine,” I put the gamepad away out of harm’s way and took up the good old mouse. Evil is punished, the world is saved. The game is simply incomparable, the graphics are excellent for 2007, the controls, although unusual, are very convenient (for me at least), colorful characters, several endings, a great plot. It felt like I had watched a very good film in the mystery/thriller genre, and not only watched it, but also participated in it. Not long ago I played Fahrenheit again and had a lot of fun again. This game immediately took its place in my collection (and I am very picky about games). If anyone hasn't had the pleasure of playing "The Indigo Prophecy" yet, feel free to play, you won't regret it!
