In this game you need to ride a universal buggy SUV, teleport across small planets and complete tasks, mainly related to the destruction of the so-called “aliens”. During the passage there will be opportunities to modify the car and purchase new weapons. It is also advisable to collect tokens on the maps. They can be spent on strengthening existing weapons. It is advisable not to miss teleporters on the maps and go through all of them, because according to the plot it may turn out that not all maps are completed, and you will not even know about it, shortening your passage, some modifications, perhaps, and, accordingly, skip the tokens on those not completed maps
A note on how to play through the game correctly to make the process easier for yourself. I thought of this myself and didn’t see it anywhere in the description. This is not cheating, not bugs, not glitches, but a real opportunity that the game itself provides. But I warned you, so your choice is whether to read further or not. Always have “our” research scientists in the back of your buggy if possible. Preferably as many as possible - all three. This way the car will be repaired and restored as quickly as possible after receiving damage. But this is not the most important thing, because you will notice it by experience. Feel free to place your scientist from the cockpit near each new type of object. Both whole objects and damaged ones. If an object is hit, wait until it explodes, burns and starts smoking (otherwise the scientist will die), and then immediately drop the scientist off (before the object disappears). If a scientist examines an object, a remote control with an antenna will appear in his hands, and after completing the research there will be a light bulb above his head. Take it back into the body or drive up close if the body is full. You will have new data and may very well have new drawings, the devices of which can be replenished at the factories. Another note. Since the game is old and has not been updated by anyone for a long time. (In any case, at the time of writing I have not seen a review. If you find it, let me know. I will be grateful.) It may not work correctly on new computers running Windows 10/11. I usually started having problems with the physics of the car. He got stuck and refused to go on level ground. This shouldn't happen. I used the DxWnd program, rummaged through the settings, ran it through it and seemed to achieve a normal result. You can play comfortably. I couldn’t find an official purchase either, so I hope no one will be outraged that I installed a repack. But no problems. Through a bat file in the game (and then through an application or a shortcut to it). And you don’t need a disc in the drive; tracks from the folder are automatically launched and played through the command line as in the original. Beauty. :)
