Gorgeous game, sound and graphics are combined in such a way that you simply immerse yourself in this world. And thanks to the well-made levels, there is no feeling that you are being driven somewhere forward, and even the opposite seems to be the case. that there is freedom to choose where to go (surprising for a platformer!). The puzzles are simpler than in Limbo, but for me personally this is a plus, I completed the game without a single hint)

ps. The ending is sad, but this only adds to the charm and does not let you forget the game right away.

A very good puzzle platformer, on the one hand, it hooked me less than the studio’s previous creation, Limbo, but on the other hand, it seemed like an even better insight. One way or another, Inside is the type of game that can be called art

I can’t express in words what I experienced while playing through this indie masterpiece; after it I am left with a sea of positive impressions, but I also feel some kind of sediment in my soul, melancholy, sadness maybe.

It would seem that the game does not have a clear plot, there are no well-written and memorable characters... We are simply shown the story of a nameless little boy in the vile world of dystopia

(or maybe even post-apocalypse), who will have to endure a lot of hardships his journey, in which he witnesses human cruelty, where there is a very strict division of the classes of “slaves and masters”, terrible experiments on people with suppression and deprivation of will, mind control, and so on.

In general, if you look closely, Playdead likes to put children in the center, and… Read full

A very atmospheric 2D game, absolutely linear. Here you need to follow only one line and not turn anywhere; this fact, by the way, has a great influence on the plot of this project. The gameplay here is quite casual: go forward, solve simple puzzles from time to time. The game world is quite mysterious. The ending is very sad and chills.

This game gave me unreal nostalgia for the years 2012-2016, and this is another plus for its atmosphere.

Good hand-drawn graphics, reeking of melancholy and sadness.

Also, the game is imbued with lyrics. So, for lovers of heavy plots - just the thing.

Great game. Since the game has a reference to Limbo, this can be considered one game universe, so I will compare it with this game. In Inside, the gameplay is three times, or even four times more than in Limbo, a bunch of new mechanics, the potential of the Unity engine is fully revealed, everything is fine with optimization (True, at one point, literally a couple of meters it was terribly freezing, but the problem is no longer appeared and was solved by setting a lower resolution), there is no soundtrack for most of the game, which only benefited it, since this way the gloomy atmosphere is better conveyed. The plot is told without words and is more than understandable (almost), and the ending is very unusual. Definitely recommend
