Hello everyone who reads the review) I played about 20 hours on 07/19/2023. As someone who played the very first parts, I will say that in part 3 they really returned to the old control scheme, but at the same time added new elements. I was very upset that they removed one of my favorite characters, Rudy “Lynx” Roberts, but this is my personal disappointment) and there are so many new elements that are very similar to the old ones. The graphics are on par for today, the weather effects are also on par, + for this part it’s a variety of decisions and their consequences. As I noticed during battles, there is a minus, I kill almost all the enemies and only 1-2 remain somewhere on the other edge of the map and I have to continue looking for them in tactical mode, but this only happened to me 2 times in all 20 hours. A big plus is that if I shoot close, I’m almost guaranteed to hit, and not like in XCOM, you shoot from two steps and miss all the operatives with a 90% chance of hitting) It’s also worth paying attention to the fact that if you want to make the battles more difficult for yourself, then you can just brazenly attack the outposts without weakening them. The game reminded me a lot of Jagged Alliance 2 Gold, but with new controls and better graphics (naturally). I recommend this purchase to all fans of the genre, and to those who, like my older sister, are simply crazy about the entire Jagged Alliance line.)
