Killing floor 2 has lost a lot of things from the first Killing floor, is that bad? By “a lot” I mean the atmosphere and the sensations that flow from it, the sensations of a destroyed world with creepy creatures walking around. KF2 also has that feeling, no question, but it's completely different. KF2 simply ceased to be a horror game, as was the case with the first part. Killing Floor 2 is just another game (not the first killing Floor), this can be seen everywhere: in the color scheme, setting, soundtrack, zeds, etc. However, how bad is it?
For a KF fan, this is of course rather bad, you played the first part a lot of time and finally got into the second part. You see a completely different game, and the gameplay principle is the same, but the implementation is completely different.
However, for a person who is not in love with the first KF, the second part will probably be okay.
If you overcome all this whining that “this is not at all the same,” it turns out that KF2 is a driving joke, with an atmosphere of brutality and a simply AMAZING soundtrack (I especially liked Harbinger of destruction, Not I, Murderer, This i know, The Reaping and Die Volter).
Killing floor 2 is NOT Doom, it’s a Killing floor in which, between horror and brutality, the brutality has been turned up to the maximum, it’s exactly Killing floor, just in a different wrapper.
Of course, the game has some disadvantages; it cannot be denied that some skins spoil even the atmosphere for a non-horror game. The long loading time of the game at startup is also annoying. Some complained that the game took a long time to connect to matches, taking up to 5-10 minutes, but this did not happen to me. I connect to matches in 10-15 seconds, and my Internet connection is so-so. Sometimes there were crashes, but around the 30th hour of the game they stopped, perhaps there was a problem with my PC. Despite the long loading times, the game's optimization is quite decent. Seriously, my game runs very well at high settings, and my PC cannot be called powerful. The monotony of the gameplay also cannot be denied, of course there are many modes in the face of weekly outbreaks, but the changes in them are so small that even despite their number, most of them are boring to play with the exception of some outbreaks.
The verdict is this: the game is wonderful, this is Killing floor 1, this is Killing floor 2
