King's Quest 4: The Perils of Rosella — The king of Daventry, Graham, decides to pass the throne on to his heirs and, to determine who exactly, throws away his traveling cap, but at that moment he suffers a heart attack and finds himself on his deathbed. The king's daughter, Rosella is deeply grieving, but the good fairy Genesta contacts her with the help of a magic mirror and offers her help. Rosella is teleported to the fairy land of Tamir, where she learns of magical fruits that can heal her father. However, Genesta herself is weakened by her evil rival, the witch-queen Lolotte, who has stolen the magical talisman that gives Genesta strength. If Rosella cannot get rid of Lolotte and return the talisman in one day and one night, then Genesta will not be able to help her return to Daventry and save her father.
