Games L.A. Noire All reviews Review from Skalanut

On guard of the law

As a rule, in games we are on the wrong side of the law and break all sorts of rules. For example, the GTA series. But the time has come to stand on the side of the law, to be in the role of a cop to investigate crimes.

It would seem that a game that has no action or anything else, as it would seem, could be of interest, but the game pleasantly surprises as you progress.

The most important thing in this game is the atmosphere, the era of America in the 40s is perfectly conveyed. The atmosphere is preserved during the gameplay. Before going to the scene of the incident, you sit at a briefing and receive information from your superiors, and only then we go to the scene.

As expected, the detective examines the crime scene and interviews witnesses. and in your head you already formulate the course of the crime and who could be the criminal.

I would also like to note that every mistake you make is reflected in the further development of events. For example, you did not find all the evidence and identified the wrong criminal, the innocent will be imprisoned, and the authorities will yell at you for this. You can redo it later, but a residue remains( impressions of the passage).

And what do we have in the end? Team Bondi Pty. Ltd. they created a pretty good game, despite the fact that the game has outdated graphics today and there are no huge shootouts. I’ll separately say about facial expressions, they are done first-class, some developers should learn from this game. I recommend everyone to play it.
