Games L.A. Noire All reviews Review from Lasvegasman

The game is not for everyone, but it is so well developed that it can be called a masterpiece.

ADVANTAGES:

Extremely detailed and multi-level plot with three story branches. The first branch is the game itself, Cole’s career in the police, the second is army flashbacks between levels, and the most interesting third will be revealed only if you are curious enough.

The game is loyal to mental abilities, but this does not mean that you don’t need to think. Each level can be completed in an hour or more and requires full involvement in the details of each case, otherwise you will be content with two stars out of five at the end. I recommend going through each case in one gulp so as not to miss anything

Facial animation is still tearing up even 2019 games. There are interesting videos on YouTube about how it was made, I recommend watching it.

The gameplay takes into account all the nuances that can irritate the player. The city is simply huge, but at the same time there is fast travel, adventure games with a search for objects and wildly mind-bending interrogations where you need to give free rein to logic and intuition, alternating with relaxed shootouts and chases.

Without modern political correctness, the game wouldn’t be so authentic today.

There are no downsides to the game as such, perhaps these include wooden animations and a 30 FPS lock on PC.
