Life is Strange
What can I say. The game was created in the wake of the popularity of Teil series in the style of The Walking and Amon As. That's exactly what I thought while watching the reviews on YouTube.
The game somehow passed me by. Because from narrative games, I only took away the 1st season of The Walking Dead. While no such defamations were written about “Complicated Life.” And in vain.
I'm a terrible cynic. And at the age of 26, the story about the suffering of two teenage girls should not touch me.
But I am writing this opinion on the track Jose Gonzalez - Crosses and I understand.
There are some games that, like no other, correspond to the word work. Because Life is Strange is precisely a work.
Starting from simple but well-written dialogues. Finishing with proper indie rock. Some moments of the game, as they say, stick out. Exactly where you need it.
Correct story, with perfectly choreographed cut scenes and lively characters. Many moments in the game are so personal and felt exclusively at the subconscious level. Which is simply stunning.
It’s impossible to describe anything without spoiling half of the game.
So just believe it. The people who staged the scenes know how to use cinematography.
The music in the game is great. Separated from the game itself, it is not so catchy. Which only says that she is in the right place.
The only minus of the game is the sprite rain on the heroines.
Conclusion: We have a great story. In which a detective was gathered, not the most carefree youth, “Groundhog Day” or if you are young, then “Edge of Tomorrow”. And very lively characters (that same feeling when you can’t even begin to name NPCs). A pinch of indie rock envelops you like a blanket throughout the entire complex story.
"I can't make a choice." “No, remember that only you can do it.” Make the right choice by playing Life is Strange.
After all, it is about such works that they say, “This is a little more than a game.”
And yes, the rating for such games is unnecessary.
