I went through it a long time ago, bought it recently =)
One of the first games that you want to buy and have in your Steam collection, of course, if the shekels allow it.
The incredible atmosphere that envelops you from the very first seconds of the initial chapter, the snow, the girls, the screams of drunken friends under the window, everything immerses you in something so immense, going straight into the depths of your heart.
The gameplay is varied, although in general it’s not clear what to do after the plot and DLC. Many people mention that the game is cut off for a decent part - this is true, intuitively noticeable moments will catch your eye from the first chapters.
It's worth remembering that I'm judging the game as it became, and not as it could have been.
Graphics, a very subjective attribute of the game, is up to your discretion, I don’t want to make allowances for age, like many do. I think this is one of those points where you can withhold your assessment.
The plot reminded me a little of the atmosphere of the TV series “The Sopranos”; when you play through it, you get the feeling that you live next to Vito, they give you a look at his life, his attitude towards friends and family. I want you to remember that it is worth passing through and understanding - and not describing.
I liked the control from the gamepad, not so much from the mouse, but this is subjective based only on my attachment to the gamepad, it’s up to your discretion.
Music, Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!, if after this game you don’t fall in love with the music of the 40s and 50s, you and I have nothing else to talk about. Enjoy:
1. Screamin' Jay Hawkins - I Put a Spell on You
2. The Chantels - Maybe
3. Jack Wilson - Rags to riches
4. Richard Penniman - Lucille
Localization, I don’t even know what to say, is amazing.
One of those games that will stay with you throughout your life. Have a nice game!
