Mary Skelter 2 is a continuation of the atmospheric role-playing game with turn-based combat and first-person view in the Japanese style. Events take place in a fictional world where humanity was defeated by an army of alien invaders and was imprisoned in living towers that serve as a prison. You will join a revolutionary movement group that is fighting for the freedom of people still alive. The prison appeared several years ago along with the collapse of the city around it.
Now deadly creatures known as Marchens and insidious Nightmares roam its halls. Otsuu and the Little Mermaid are part of a group of people known as "Dawn" trying to survive these horrors. They manage to save Alice and a young man named Jack in one of the missions. However, upon returning to the base, Alice goes crazy and begins to attack those around her. She wounds Jack, who was trying to protect Otsuu and the Little Mermaid. But later they come to their senses and find Jack on the verge of death...
