Games Metro 2033 All reviews Review from Nick Kelly

A linear shooter with a fairly well written plot, atmospheric graphics and sound.

Passage variability is zero. The plot, although not bad, is rigidly written. Not a step aside. I only found out about the presence of good and bad endings after finishing the game. I don't know which one I had. Dishonored is implemented much better in this sense.

Stealth in the game is done in a strange way. It seems like it exists, but there’s no point in going through it in stealth. The Deus Ex series is a cut (if not two) above.

The horror component is weak. At some point the monsters stop being scary. The only exceptions are spiders due to the arachnophobia inherent in most people.

Nevertheless, the game is good enough and you can beat it at least once. Plus it's short. For me, far from being a fan of shooters and an oblique shooter, it took 12.8 hours (according to Steam).
