Episode 1 - Okay.

Even though I hate the original Minecraft, Minecraft: Story Mode exceeded all my expectations.

If you compare it with the latest TellTale games (Game of Thrones and Tales from the Borderlands), Mine will be the best. And all because they finally returned more gameplay. This game has become closer to The Walking Dead and Wolf Among Us. They brought back at least some puzzles and thinking (crafting things, lol). Added *drumroll* combat system! With HP points and arbitrary swinging of a sword, and a bow too. There is more non-linearity, unlike the same GoT and TFTB. More variations of actions. But most importantly, this game is not based on the “Dialogue and WASD” principle. This makes me happy. Otherwise, this is a familiar TellTale game with a long-established template. The first episode was enjoyable.

7.0

The first episode came out very bright and dynamic. It introduces the main characters, villains and the plot. Although this is the first episode, there are a bunch of choices in it that will later be important (for example, Ruben). And at the end, a choice is given, depending on which, the next episode of the post will completely change.
