It’s evening, it’s raining outside, I’m sipping tea and traveling through the world of myths of ancient Permians.
This is not so much a game as an interactive project telling about the legends of ancient peoples. The controls are minimal - you step forward and solve simple puzzles. The main thing here is to admire the views and read the ancient legends of people who saw the world differently than we do.
You are not a mere mortal, you are the Moose Man, a powerful spirit in human form passing through all three worlds to guide the sun across the sky and illuminate human lands with light.
Along the way you will meet mythical creatures - the inhabitants and rulers of the lower, middle and upper worlds. You can see them only in the guise of a man-elk, and having turned into a simple person, all the chud (spirits) will become invisible. Everything around you is teeming with intangible images and souls of the inhabitants of the forests and plains. You will communicate with them, and even compete with some.
On the way you will collect images of ornaments, and the idols will tell you stories about the creation and structure of the world.
Essentially this is a documentary that immerses the viewer in what is happening on the screen. The presented legends and images of amulets and amulets are taken from museum archives, so there is no doubt about their authenticity. I would also like to praise the sound design. The sounds of wildlife create an amazing atmosphere, and the music emphasizes the feeling that you are surrounded by witchcraft and magic.
This project made a pleasant impression on me, and if you are also interested in how our ancestors imagined the structure of the universe, take this nugget without hesitation. You won't be disappointed!
