In fact, this is the game that fans have been waiting for after the 2011 remake.
I can endlessly describe all the advantages and disadvantages of the game, but brevity is the sister of talent, therefore I will say it to the point. The gameplay became more dynamic, which added much more excitement and deepened the combat mechanics, but the advertised fighting styles turned out to be unbalanced. If we talk a little more in detail, then each character has a style based on the duration of the combo, and this is the most often used. The promised “one style is set up against another” is not there.
There are no complaints about the plot component and production. The plot is interesting, the production is excellent. But the new characters, these kids are not such colorful characters as most of the MK fighters are. I won't say that they were unsuccessful. Not at all. But in the 11th part, I sincerely hope that each of them will undergo a redesign.
Living challenge towers are a good idea, but as a replacement for an excellent tower for 300 trials, it doesn’t work. Many are tritely based on test bonuses “try your luck”.
No matter how much I grumble about little things, they are just little things. MKH is a great fighting game and the series is moving in the right direction.
