Games Need for Speed Carbon All reviews Review from Samuel212

Need for Speed: Carbon is a prequel-sequel to Underground and Most Wanted. As with all NFS, the plot is here for show, but the authors tried to twist it. Even before the games with the Underground subtitle, the main character participated in races with Carbon's characters. At one point, a mess started, the cops swooped in and everything didn’t go as it should. After the events of MW, GG returns to Palmont City. He is being pursued by Cross, who has become a bounty hunter. But Darius pays off Cross and GG begins to conquer Palmont. The only good thing here is the start, and then as per the standard, we win everything and everyone.

But the gameplay has become worse than its predecessor. I don’t know what’s the matter, but the cars are controlled as if they were on a cushion of air, as if they were not driving, but floating. Everything feels strange there, I don’t even know how to explain it. Visually it's the same. Visualizing air flow, for example, has always been annoying. And the police remained unnecessary. Her behavior model is the same as in MW2005, but there are no tasks for the player to make it fun to ride with. But the styling model was taken to a new level. The body kits could be adjusted as your heart desires. Lower, higher, wider, narrower. Vinyls and decals can be adjusted in size and moved to any location.

In general, it turned out mediocre and it’s clear that black boxes didn’t have enough time to bring the project to fruition.
