The game is perfect, the game has potential, which was included in the second part, but EA Games' potential in car simulators was flushed down the toilet, since there were no more car simulators. The second Shift did not exceed the level of the first Shift. To make games so well, EA Games had to lure, oh, take Slightly Mad Studios into their team, and this studio definitely did everything with a bang. If ProStreet was not so focused on autosim, ProStreet had little of what Shift had. The cars were basically the same. But the graphics have changed a lot in Shift. The last game in the series before Shift was Undercover, which became famous or humiliated for its gameplay and graphics, which were disgusting. Well, the next game in the series was Nitro, which was also worse, but this can be explained by the fact that it was released on Wii and Nintendo DS. Shift features automatic difficulty selection, instead of making a difficult choice, they will select all the difficulty, help and bots for you. In terms of the plot, for me there is none, literally none. There is a goal, but there is no motivation (Yes, motivation in the form of a cup may pass for an answer, but for me personally it does not qualify as an answer), as well as a prologue about how the GG broke into the race. Yes, there are the first two races, but they are for selecting difficulty, not a prologue. Yes, someone will say, like, “After all, this is an autosim, an autosim doesn’t need a plot!”, but if even games of the “Quest-puzzle” genre can have a plot, then why shouldn’t it be in an autosim? Further, multiplayer has died out, there is no need to go into detail, “Why did it die out?”, “How did it die out?”, ask the Electronics who did it, so the “Multiplayer” criterion has been removed. Control. The cars feel like they are controlled differently, but since I don’t have a steering wheel, I play on a gamepad, and I feel that the game is NOT suitable for the KeyMouse (May the gods forgive me for the KeyMouse), even on the gamepad, there is a feeling that this The game MUST be played with a steering wheel, otherwise... There is no music here, and if there is, it is very LITTLE, so you can’t call it successful with the selection of music, because music appears only in two places. First: these are cutscenes, and second, this is the end of the race, and not immediately, but in a replay that plays in the background, and even then this music is not that good. Well, what about sounds? Well, everything is good here, both in the races and in the menu. Well, let's talk about Localization. She's fine. Well, like just ordinary localization. Well, that’s all, I advise everyone to go through (or re-go through). If you do this, then have good emotions and good luck in passing.
