Underground 2 is the successor to the cult first part about illegal night racing. The game has been perfectly refined in every sense: the plot, or rather the goal in the game, has become more than clear, the appearance of an open world, no less dynamic music (just don’t say that you won’t recognize songs from Unwritten Law, Rise Against and Snoop Dogg from thousands) , extensive tuning, which, with due imagination, at the end of your career, turned your car into something unimaginably beautiful, in which it was difficult to recognize the model taken as a basis.
I really liked that now you could customize the car for yourself, choosing the best settings in terms of speed/acceleration/handling. The graphics have improved quite well, the story campaign in the form of a comic book looks very interesting. But regarding how good this part turned out with all the improvements, in my opinion, this is a case where the developers overdid it.
5 different areas of Bayview, at the end there are already monotonous tracks and simply unrealistically boring gameplay. Towards the end (somewhere in the eastern port), I don’t know about you, how many times in a row I wanted to quit the game and so I only finished the game three times on the MX-5, 240SX and Supra. Otherwise, a great game that no self-respecting arcade racing fan should miss!
