Need for Speed Underground is a cult part in the history of the series, on which an entire generation grew up and with the theme of which, while EA is experimenting with new ideas, many still cannot part with. Everything about the game was wonderful - the soundtrack, the cars, the tuning, the city at night. I just didn’t want to leave the game, begging myself to go through one more race before going to bed.
The only thing that irritated me was the lack of difficulty of the game, which was only on “paper”, because no matter which one you chose, your opponents always drove the same way.
Two game modes deserve special praise - drag and drift, in which you could really show your friends what your spaceship is capable of. And this game has sunk into my soul so much that I still make sure to replay it again every year or year and a half.
