The game was released in 2010, like Hot Pursuit 2010. Includes the largest map in NFS history - the city of Need for Speed: Most Wanted 2005 and Need for Speed: Carbon.
At the very beginning it was a great game - there were normal prices for cars, there was no donation, each car had its own engine sound, etc. — there were a lot of little things that made you happy and from which you enjoyed.
But then, after quite a bit of time, Black Box decided to specifically ruin the game - they simplified the physics of the game to the point of impossibility (so that the game would run on the most prehistoric computers), introduced donations, SpeedBoost's, and there was simply a huge number of cheaters! Previously, in general, you could only level up to level 10, and then, in order to level up to the maximum level - 50 - if you please, pay some money, as in a typical MMO game. Over time, this payment was canceled, new cars, races, various goodies in the form of searching for some stones from which you can receive bonuses, special parts and much more began to be added.
All this, of course, was terrible, but there were more and more people playing this game, because... they simply had no choice what to play for free and with low system requirements.
There is one more feature in the game - how you configure the car, so it will go, that is, it all depends on the parts that you put on it. If you want maximum speed, install tires that will help you; you want flexible handling and an average max. speed - special pendant will help you! However, despite its free-to-play status, the controls were still very mediocre.
At the end of its existence, a drag mode was added to the game, new prizes, new cars with which beginners can start their career, a rather strong dependence on donations was removed, and much more. It is a pity that a project of such magnitude, which lasted for so many years, was eventually closed.
