I remember Painkiller: Resurrection only for the incessant shooting at monsters somewhere in a cemetery at night. I tried to remember at least something else about the game, but in vain... Then I turned to the press, which, as far as I remember, did not particularly favor the game. And I understood why this shooter was not remembered for anything else - there was simply nothing else in it. No memorable character, no passable plot, let alone other components. Of course, fans can come to their defense, but for someone unfamiliar with the series, such a game will probably only turn them off. Not surprisingly, the Xbox 360 version was cancelled.
